Sweet challenge supports charity in centenary

The Chamber team has been busy celebrating the centenary with a different challenge each month to mark the year.

After putting on their best smiles for 100 selfies at the Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards in June, July was spent selling 100 jars of honey, generously made and donated by RDT Architects. Proceeds from the sale of the honey is being donated to the Chamber’s chosen charity, Hertfordshire Community Foundation.

In August, everyone put their best foot forward at the second netwalking event to walk a collective 100,000 steps alongside their furry friends.

Chamber CEO Donna Schultz said: “The creativity of the team in coming up with a different challenge each month is incredible.

“We really wanted to make this a year to remember and together we have taken part in activities that we wouldn’t otherwise have done. Some have benefitted our own wellbeing and others have supported different charities. “It has been great for team-building and I really appreciate everyone supporting the monthly challenges.

“We still have four months of the year to go and I am excited to see what ideas the team comes up with before the end of our centenary year.”
