An alcohol-free brewing company, an inclusive theatre group and a digital development organisation were among the winners at the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce’s annual business awards.

The Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards were announced on 9 June at a glittering event attended by around 400 guests, including local dignitaries, at the Warner Bros. Studios, the home of Harry Potter, in Leavesden.

Briege Leahy, CEO of Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “The awards ceremony is always a highlight in the Chamber’s calendar and this year was no different. It was wonderful to celebrate the achievements and contribution of the county’s businesses and charitable organisations.

The Chamber was inundated with entries from around the county for the 19 categories, which included accolades for customer commitment and workplace wellbeing. There were also two Special Recognition Awards chosen by the Chamber and the headline sponsors, Viatris and SA Law.

The free-to-enter awards were launched in 2012 to focus on and celebrate the expertise, achievements, and outstanding contribution that businesses and individuals continually make to the growth of Hertfordshire.

Briege said: “The awards are a fantastic opportunity for Hertfordshire businesses to showcase their performance and achievements to the Hertfordshire business community and beyond.”
