Heart’s Help for Hunger Appeal

With 9% of Uk households living in food insecurity here at Heart Hertfordshire we wanted to use our platform to help support those in our communities who are facing the awful decision of whether to heat their home or put food on the table. We decided to reach out to the Trussell Trust who support families in need providing money for gas and electricity and food through their foodbanks. The campaign raises awareness of this issue and how it is so prevalent, not just elsewhere, but, in the very communities in which we live and work.

We have been very fortunate to have partnered with Britvic to support this promotion. As part of their corporate social responsibility strategy, they aim to be trusted and respected within their community. Working with them has been a pleasure and the team have got behind this campaign not only through their sponsorship but collecting food in the office and assisting the foodbank in Watford with the moving of their stores.

We are proud to support the Trussell Trust and are so thankful to Britvic for joining forces with us to make this possible.

There are two ways in which we can all help:

  • Donating most-needed items to your local food bank

  • Making a monetary donation to provide emergency support to help those in crisis

You can find more information on how to help here.
